Energy improvement programme for CarrefourSA retail stores across Turkey 2017–2021 — lighting, cooling, CHP, refrigeration and renewable energy assessment across Discounter, Supermarket and Hypermarket formats.
Retail chain CarrefourSA started a refurbishment programme for its stores and part of this exercise was the energy improvement of building services across Discounter, Supermarket and Hypermarket stores between 2017–2021.
CDI's task included identification and assessment of advanced and cost-effective sustainable energy and water investments, including lighting, cooling and air-conditioning, food production, display food refrigerators, installation of on-site energy CHP generation and use of renewables.
Our engineers assessed the current state of HVAC, refrigeration and other auxiliary equipment, their operational policies and maintenance regime based on selected representative stores, and identified and assessed cost-effective sustainable energy and water investments.
