Redevelopment of an eight-storey office block to a 4-star, 118-bedroom hotel. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, conference rooms and a fitness suite. Directors of CDI were responsible for the design and co-ordination of the electrical, mechanical and public health services.
All guest bedrooms, public areas and conference rooms are fully air conditioned via a 4-pipe fan coil unit system. Ventilation to these facilities is provided via packaged air handling plant incorporating heat recovery. Central plant is located at roof level and comprises air-cooled packaged chillers, condensing boilers, domestic hot water calorifiers, air handling units and kitchen/toilet extract fans.
