Our engineers undertook a Sustainable Energy Strategy study and MEP systems design for a new development at Chiswick. The project involves 15 new apartments to be constructed on top of existing residential blocks.
CDI explored the availability and suitability of low energy and renewable technologies and proposed a sustainable energy strategy for the development. Energy efficient technologies, decentralised energy systems and renewable energy technologies were considered to comply with the Council's Planning Policies and the Sustainable Design and Construction Documents (SPD) together with the policies stated in the London Plan.
We undertook concept and schematic design for MEP systems, including SAP calculations and renewable energy contribution evaluations in line with the London Renewables Document.
