CDI provides full mechanical engineering consultancy, procurement and contractor management across the Haven Parks portfolio — delivering end-to-end management of over £2.3M of works across multiple UK sites.
CD International acts as the central mechanical engineering consultancy for Haven Parks, overseeing a comprehensive programme of planned maintenance, equipment replacement and infrastructure upgrades across the full portfolio of holiday parks. Our role spans the complete project lifecycle — from initial technical assessment and budget preparation through tendering, contractor management and project close-out.
Working in close coordination with Haven's in-house teams and specialist contractors, CDI operates as the coordination hub between parks and service providers — ensuring all works are delivered to programme, within budget and in full compliance with Haven procurement procedures.
Full lifecycle management of major plant replacements — from technical surveys and budget preparation through structured tendering (formal process for works over £50k), on-site contractor management, inspections, and final project close-out.
Smaller-scale plant interventions with the same rigorous oversight — assessment, procurement, PPM contractor coordination, utilities management, and close-out — with lighter procurement thresholds and faster turnaround.
CDI operates as the central coordination hub between parks and PPM contractors — handling daily scheduling, purchase orders, draw-down payments, and regular virtual progress reviews.
Specialist responsibilities include Gas Testing & Certification, F-Gas Certification, and ongoing water quality monitoring for Low Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) and cooling systems — ensuring continuous compliance across all installations.
Full management of Cannings Ltd for all CHP operations. Includes technical assessments, electrical load analysis, budgeting, procurement, and seamless integration of CHP units with existing LPHW boiler systems.
Advisory and technical support for the BMS network project, covering integration of water heaters, air conditioning plant, and RADA systems into the Cooper-Tech / Learnd Ltd managed BMS network.
All works are managed in full accordance with Haven procurement procedures. For major equipment replacement works exceeding £50,000 CDI manages a formal tendering process — from preparation of tender documentation through contractor selection, appointment and on-site management. For minor works below this threshold a streamlined quotation and approval process ensures fast, cost-effective delivery without compromising on standards.
Throughout all programmes CDI maintains comprehensive records — O&M manuals, asset registers, PPM schedules and commissioning documentation — ensuring Haven's estate teams have everything they need to manage their facilities effectively after handover.
