Survey and phasing study for King's College London's founding Strand site — decanting the library and research areas to create new facilities, lifts, toilets and traffic/people movement improvements.
The college's founding site dating back to 1829 with period architecture, centrally located next to Somerset House. The project included a survey of facilities and phasing study to decant the library and research areas, creating new facilities, lifts and toilets, and traffic and people movement studies.
CDI's role involved assessing the existing MEP infrastructure, developing a strategy for phased upgrading of services within the constraints of the listed building, and ensuring continuity of operations throughout construction.
