A 50,000 sqm four-level retail centre in Minsk — a restoration of a half-built structure on the prominent north-western entrance to the city, developed by Chapman Taylor Architects.
CD International completed Concept and Scheme design for MEP building services for Palazzo Mall in Minsk, Belarus. The project involved the restoration of a half-built structure that had been standing on a prominent location on the north-western entrance to Minsk — transformed by Chapman Taylor Architects into a 50,000 sqm four-level retail centre.
The ground level is occupied by a supermarket and back-of-house facilities. The first and second floors provide primarily fashion retail space, while the third floor is dedicated to a cinema and ten-pin bowling. The centre benefits from an existing four-storey car park adjacent to the building.
Our task was to develop a major servicing strategy and deliver schematic design in collaboration with local architects and engineers — incorporating European Standards alongside local building codes.
