Two new touring facilities at Perran Sands incorporating low energy technologies, green roofs and sustainable design — blending naturally into the coastal dune landscape.
The development of two new Touring Facilities at Perran Sands provided the opportunity to incorporate a number of new low energy and sustainable technologies, as well as incorporating good practice low energy design throughout.
The location of the new Touring Facilities dictated that the new buildings blended naturally into the landscape — the buildings were profiled within the dune landscape and provided with a green roof so that they are naturally integrated with the local coastal habitat.
